Eric was a sixty-year-old extremely active outdoors man when he was first diagnosed with ALS (Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis); he was a hunter, fisherman, dirt bike rider, water-skier, dune buggy racer, golfer, and racquetball player for many years prior to his illness. He was an insurance company executive and in the last few years ran his own insurance agency. Eric and Glenna lived in a custom-built home on two acres complete with fruit trees, vegetable garden, plus chickens, geese, ducks, and one peacock. They thought this was their retirement home. Then the ALS diagnosis forced retirement and sale of their home.
Through the next eighteen years of battling ALS together, they gathered information from around the world about how to survive a terminal illness through detoxification, nutrition and common sense. This resulted in their first book called Eric is Winning!! which has helped countless people worldwide approach a serious health challenge with a Positive Mental Attitude and the tools discussed in this book.
They also created a web site used to share their latest experiences and whatever they have learned about the latest ALS treatments.
